Balance Yoga offers a class for everyone, no matter what level of practice you may be at today. Balance’s singular focus is providing the healthiest yoga environment possible, while nurturing a passionate, knowledgeable yoga community in the Lake Travis area. We feature a climate control and humidity system that cannot be found anywhere else.
Heated Classes - the studio will be heated to 95-98 degrees and humidity will be around 50%
No Heat Classes - the studio heat and humidity is turned off, no AC. Room temperature will vary based on outside temperature

Great class for intermediates and beginners looking for a deeper yoga practice. Vinyasa 1 breaks down postures and instructors lead the flow at a slower, deliberate pace with emphasis on alignment and breath. This will help establish a good foundation and a comfortable environment to learn the beginning poses of the practice. Vinyasa is a practice of linking breath to movement, it is one of the most popular contemporary styles of yoga today. Our Vinyasa may encompass different types of yoga, including Ashtanga and Power. At Balance, we recommend participating in a Vinyasa 1 class if it is your first time doing this type of yoga.

Vinyasa 2 is a more vigorous flow, with emphasis on strength and flexibility. Vinyasa is a practice of linking breath to movement, it is one of the most popular contemporary styles of yoga today. Our Vinyasa may encompass different types of yoga, including Ashtanga and Power. Vinyasa 2 classes will vary in sequence and theming from week to week and teacher to teacher. A Vinyasa 2 class is great for students who are ready to take the next step in their yoga journey or a beginner practitioner that knows their own limits.

HEATED
Fusion combines the traditional Hot 26 Yoga postures with other Vinyasa movements. It is a set series, that will vary slightly teacher to teacher, with longer holds and a flowing sequence. You will receive the benefits of a hot yoga class with further hip opening, upper body toning, and core strengthening. The moderate pacing of Fusion makes it accessible to beginner and seasoned practitioners. The studio will be heated to 95-100 degrees with added humidity.

COOLED - NO HEAT
The Gentle Flow practice is based on breath and synchronized movements. It is designed to increase body awareness and flexibility, with modifications available for all levels. It is a non heated class, with a slow pace, where you can share with your certified Yoga Teacher any concerns, injuries, or surgeries. Perfect for all ages and levels, and for those looking for a "cool" yoga practice.

NO HEAT
Family friendly Yin is a slow-paced style of yoga with restorative postures that are held for longer periods of time (4-5 minutes). These longer held poses work the deep layers of connective tissue that harden when we engage in vigorous physical activity. This class is perfect for runners, bikers, and all sports teams, as well as all ages and levels. No previous yoga experience is needed. Yin will leave you feeling grounded and deeply relaxed (often resulting in a better nights sleep!)

Calm your mind, settle your body and find a softer focus to your day. Guided Meditation consists of a beginning breathwork with a brief description of that day's plan, then progressing into meditation drawing from many traditions which may include Mantra Meditation, Guided Imagery, Mindfulness, Chakra Crystal Singing Bowl Meditation and more. Beginners to practicing meditators will enjoy this class. Families welcome!

Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic, physical practice that synchronizes breath and movement (vinyasa) to produce an internal heat designed to purify the body. Ashtanga Flow is great for beginners as well as seasoned yogis. This class can feel more intense because it has a way of bringing you deeper within yourself. With no music in the background, you hear your own breath and the instructions of your teacher more clearly. There are fewer distractions, and a more singularly focused energy flows through the room. Ashtanga comes with all the benefits of a regular yoga practice--strength, flexibility, balance, stress management, and inner peace. There is no part of the body that doesn't work hard in this practice.

30 minutes of movement and strengthening Vinyasa flow, followed by 30 minutes of stillness and long, deep stretching. This is a great introductory class to both Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. All level of yogi's are welcome. Perfect for beginners and those looking to transfer into a Vinyasa practice.

NO HEAT
One of the deepest of all meditations, the practice
of Yoga Nidra begins with very light floor stretching & then takes you directly into Savasana where you are gently guided through 4 main stages of brain activity – beta, alpha, theta and delta to achieve a “hypnagogic state,” the state between wakefulness and sleep.
Clinical research shows it reduces stress and anxiety levels, bringing the equivalent of four hours of deep sleep. This class is appropriate for all ages and levels.
